HI,

So I have a slight numb feeling behind my forehead. My willpower seems to be awesome, and i'm 60-days in. Is this headache a sign of healing?

Cheers

I would say yes.. if it seems to 'move' around that might be more serious but I think the headaches are normal. I have had a few and they have been at the back of my head.

I've had headaches at the front.of my head. Just behind my forehead. I'd love to know.if.this is a rebooting thing. I drink a lot of.coffee and I've just started cutting down.on a lot on beer so for me it could have just been dehydration but I've always drunk a lot of coffee and beer and don't remember having front of the head, dull, persistent headaches as often as this. I'm 43 days in. Feeling good. The headaches aren't a big deal. Just I read your post and I wondered if there's something going on here. I mean hopefully after watching porn regularly / almost every day for about 15 years then removing it entirely some good things are happening in my brain :)

I truly believe most of what people complain about, symptomaticlly, are D/R to porn. Being medically trained and heavily knowledgeable with the clinical/biological sciences I can solidly state that we know very little of pornographic related additions other than the relation is shows towards neurogenic (neuron/ chemical) models of addition. It's how we understand the role of dopamine etc.

As far as the headaches, I would have to say that it could be due to recovery etc. Like I said, if it keeps occurring you can always have it checked out.

Also, awesome job on your success! It's been a hard road for me personally. I keep finding myself almost powerless to stop edging which leads me to relapsing. lol I'm getting a headache just trying to keep my focus off anything porn.. short of cutting myself off from anything other than a straight jacket and a solid white room!
