I've seen that and it is horrifying! My partner and I couldn't get over how depressing that was

It seems that more and more, the artificial and delusional are being rolled out onto the market to fulfill the requirements of the human strange populace. I've read a "robotic" sexdoll is being finalized to hit websites/stores/vendors this year.

AR, VR, robots, holo projections, AI partners, porn, dolls...all I can say is I now understand this technology! Lol

Interesting that the hologram is an infantilised subservient female, but then again that guy is the stereotypical weirdo loser who can only form a meaningful relationship with an illusion. Hmmm.

Loleekins, have you heard of Realdolls? Apparently these are "life-like" dolls, pornified caricatures with pretend body parts and orifices including vaginas? They are so fucking ridiculous, I mean imagine a grown man spending all that money on a lump of plastic and silicon and having it delivered to his house!

Yeah, it's getting to the stage where we will have to conceive using a scientific method that doesn't need men at all because just like they're always saying on the PA forums, they're really all just cavemen following their instincts to "spread their seed" by ejaculating into a Kleenex whilst staring at an illusion created by colored dots on a screen. Or into manufactured objects like these fake dolls or  fake vaginas. Ridiculous, isn't it?

"Loleekins, have you heard of Realdolls?"

Yepper. That's the company that claims they are rolling out a robotic hump toy this year.

Company founder Matt McMullen said: ?I want to have people actually develop an emotional attachment to not only the robot but the actual character behind it ? to develop some kind of love for this being."

OMFG!!!!!

All I can say is that is that anyone who buys into that shit has really lost the plot. I just feel pity for those men. What kind of social or mental deficiency must they be suffering with to actually purchase an artificial "woman"?? That's not normal.

"...love for this being"? A hunk of plastic is a "being" now? A cartoon projection is a "somebody" and a hunk of plastic is a "being"....

I know this is not a really my place to comment, but recently I stumbled  across a study, which might explain this situation you are talking about in this topic. Study was focused on effect of population boom, where the only limiting factor was space. Result of this experiment was extintion of mice population. Really interesting (or horrifying) is a change of behaviour of younger population, which bears a lot of similarities in today's world: http://www.physicsoflife.pl/dict/calhoun's_experiment.html

Yes, I'm familiar with Calhoun's experiment. It's a very interesting one. Applying it to humans I can readily see many of the social consequences.
Unfortunately humans are exploitative where your average garden variety rodent is not. The "products" (and I use that term loosely) above are a result of exploiting social inability, personal weakness, insecurity, isolation, identity disorders, etc, it's a rather exhaustive list.

Calhoun's rodents were free of the economic predatory nature that results from human on human interactions that tend to speed along societal breakdowns. One could speculate that the predatory and exploitative nature of human/human interaction, puts humanity on a crisco greased bobsled careening down an ice covered mountainside straight into the toilet.

If it prevents a few idiotic men from reproducing because they're too busy trying to "fertilise" a lump of silicon then bring it on. <sarcastic>
