Hey Everyone! I was wondering how seeing sexy advertisements or attractive people at the beach or mall (etc) affect you? I am determined not to relapse as my brain wiring is messed up bad. It just seems sexual imagery is everywhere. To be honest it drives me crazy now whereas when I was PMOing I never paid attention.

Hey Wiseacre.  How many days sober are you?  It makes a difference.  I can only really comment on real, live people.  At around a week sober you will see a change in your ability to ignore stimuli in the real world.  When we are hooked, a woman wearimg a well fitted dress, or even with the slightest, most innocent amount of cleavage, will draw our eyes.  Soberness builds up your ability to take control and avoid looking.  Healthy sexuality should only be something shared between partners, not something that objectifues strangers.  Being sober allows you to attain self control.  The lomger you are sober the more self comtrol you will have.
