Tinder and wet dream?

Hello all,

I?m 90 + days into a latest solid reboot. No touch except for periodic minimal test to sensation only and no artificial stimuli except for stuff like randomly stumbling across bikini pics on sports blogs or facebook feed. Been feel good with MW pretty much any day I wake up no alarm, about 5 wet dreams, can get it up decenetly to touch only, etc.

I decided to pull out Tinder and even without any stirring in my pants it seemed flicking through some pics I started to precum. I don?t know if this is a) my body waiting to burst release at any hint of sexuality i.e. a good thing, or b) showing still wired closely to pixels with arousal response??? ?Any thoughts?

Then that night a couple hours later I had a wet dream. It had been 5 weeks since my last one so I was kinda due. But I thought ? coincidence that I was apparently slightly aroused before going to bed, or that seeped into my sleep and caused the WD? I?ve had both ? WDs after spontaneous fantasies about (real) girls while falling asleep, and also WDs out of nowhere it seemed. Any experiences here??

Thankss!!

Hey man! It all sounds relatively normal. I do recommend, though, that you stay away from tinder and sites like it for a bit. While it isn't anything remotely like porn, it still is sort of this mild browsing for sexual novelty that might be unhealthy for the addicted brain.

Other then that, try not to worry about what your penis does in your sleep. Nothing you can do to control it, and everyone that recovers has plenty of wet dreams. Hell, I must of had 60+ since I started rebooting and my progress has been great. Don't sweat it.

Are you sure this is the case?  I've never had a wet dream in my life. One night I edged a lot and dreamed about having sex with a girl I know and I did have a wet dream (I felt myself O in the dream and when I woke up I had O'ed) but I'm sure it was due to the edging and stopping right before O several times.  Other than that, I've never had a wet dream.  I'm sure I've read somewhere that some males do and some males don't experience them and it's perfectly normal either way.

@fugu, yeah that's what i was worried about, whether tinder is in the gray area of being articificial stimuli or not. I guess as long as you're not fiending it and actually careful about approaching it with the mindset of trying to match to meet a real girl it could be ok.

Anyway I was texting a girl matched from Tinder and was pretty much fully hard and precum the whole time! And these were just like 'get to know you" messages, nothing sexual at all lol! I felt even more aroused than the wood I get when random fantasies (about real girls) kick in or the times I've reacted down there to a pic online during this reboot. I know it's not quite the 'real thing', but I'd have to think it's a good sign that I'm so turned on just by the anticipation prospect of hooking up with a real girl? (I'd like to think it's this rather than going wild with exposure to pixelated girls i.e. reactivating addictive habits..)

...I literally couldn't get the idea of hooking up with her out of my head. I went to sleep and, I guess predictably, had another wet dream.

I want to think that i'm pretty well back to normal and brimming given the abstinence of this reboot, agree? Like if I was wired all day and resulted in a wet dream just from trying to set up a time to meet this girl, there's no way I wouldn't get it up in anticipation in the real moment when the time comes (unless massive anxiety)?

Thanks for your thoughts.

Ooops! Definitely shouldn't have said anyone because that isn't true. MOST people have a lot of wet dreams in their recovery...but certainly not everyone I read a great recovery story recently where the guy claimed to never have a wet dream in his whole life! Sorry about the word choice there. :p

@rebooterer- sounds cool man! glad I could help!
