I don't know when it's erect as I'm avoiding my penis for a while (physically at least!).

Therefore, when it's flaccid it's becoming curved.

If you're really that concerned, there are supposedly ways to straighten it.  Certain techniques or devices  you can use.  A quick google search will tell you all you need to know.  I only know this cause I was curious about the same thing a while back.
