I've made it almost 39 days no fap. There has been a bit of an edgy feeling down there for a few days now and I know I need to go a lot longer. So I tried some Anbesol on my buddy, in just the right place. After about five minutes, a wonderful numbness came along, which allowed me to focus on work. So I wondered how long could it last. That was around 10 AM today. There was a little surface sensitivity back starting around 3 pm, but basically that edginess is gone. We'll see about tomorrow. Hoping this can be the secret weapon that enables me to get to my destination unspoiled. Any thoughts on this method?

Yes the gel shuts down the seemingly uncontrollable urges that the brain sends along. After 76 days my wife wanted to party and nothing had changed. She did help me M and I had a strange burning sensation in the urethra. It was late at night so we tried to get to sleep, but after 30 minutes or so I had to get up again to urinate which cleared up that burning sensation. I am not sure what that was about unless some of my aspirin and statin meds built up in the semen.

Pretty much totally. The urge is dead for about 6 hours. I found that there were certain times of the day when it was worst, which had previously been my habit of behavior. It was like the brain had it's own internal clock running and only bugged me at the times of day that I had programmed it by repeated stimulation. Used during those times was sufficient to break the cycle.
