Strange contradictory symptoms

I started having problems with erection since Saturday when I was making out with my girlfriend. I was not having an erection at all. As many articles I came across, i found that people who are addicted to porn get a hard on while watching porns atleast. But after that day neither porn nor any kind of imagination is helping my erection. It has stopped having erections altogether. Sometimes while I sit in front of the computer, automatically after some time my penis gets semi-erect and if i rub it,it gets a little bit harder but then again it limps. I think the brain has been wired masturbation with the image of the computer, as I masturbated a lot in front of the computer. As far as I remember, at times my penis has been semi-erect while I forced to ejaculate. I have tried masturbating in the bathroom, precisely because of doing it entirely by imagination, but failed. Also the morning erections which we all have right after or during we wake up, have vanished all of a sudden.
Please let me know if anyone else has these symptoms or if these symptoms at all match the same for Porn-Induced ED!!!! I am anxious. Please reply. Anyone. Any help would be appreciated except a tip about going to doctors right now. Thank you.

Hey man
I had a similar experience when I first began to question what was going on. I couldn't get it hard with a girl, and I struggled to keep an erection watching porn too. If you head to yourbrainonporn.com and they've got some really sweet videos that explain what's going on in with your neurochemistry and most likely causing it. In short you lose your arousal to various porn as you've desensitised your brain.

The good news man, is that you can reverse it. Many have already, and I've begun to experience changes in myself. I can at least get an erection now to have sex. It's a gradual process, but you will improve. Just read up as much as you can and see what you can find.

I believe you're in a good place and have begun to do the right things by coming here.

Don't stress it too much, you'll be fine.

Thanks a lot.....really really thanks.....atleast its something reversible and it feels good that the symptoms match.... :) :) :) thanks a lot for replying......I have downloaded the e-book....and my girlfriend is really very supportive....She really is an angel....another question....should I make out with my girlfriend while I am on the reboot??? Somewhere I read that it can help re-wiring the brain to get an erection with actual partners!!! So...should I??

Hey man, Ksempai is right. This is reversible and it will help to learn the science behind porn-induced ED.

Yes the symptoms you reported having all match symptoms of porn-induced ED. Losing morning wood is one of the most common signs. Some guys lose the ability to get an erection to porn as well, in some cases. So don't worry. You are not alone.

another question....should I make out with my girlfriend while I am on the reboot?

Yes. Touching, kissing, cuddling, and just being around your partner can be beneficial for your reboot. Other neurochemicals that are released during these behaviors like oxytocin can also help ease the struggle of the reboot process.

That means that woman is right....I think double confirmation always helps....I now kinda feel relieved....today the whole day at college went really depressing....whenever I looked at my friends....I heard myself saying,"Atleast he can get it up when he wants!!!".....I am ready to wait and let it work....lets see what happens....Il maintain the journal here....if that helps others.....

Yup, classic PIED symptoms there. Give it some time and things will eventually start to return to normal.

You don't have to wait for a certain day to stop PMO'ing. Just start right now.

In time your body's chemistry will return to normal and you will once again be turned on by "normal" encounters with women. I noticed that after 7 days of not engaging in PMO I felt a lot better. I wasn't a real severe case quite yet, but I know I was on my way there.

I remember being really stressed with my career transition that I started turning to long PMO sessions in order to hide the stress. Stress is also a big factor that kills erections. If you are very stressed of anxious about something while trying, you are most likely going to have a very difficult time keeping it up.

Just do some reading around here to get educated, make a commitment to yourself to not PMO and you should be on the road to recovery.

Another problem that I am facing....and I am a bit concerned....previously after some hours of not peeing I used to feel pressure.....a fair amount of pressure.....but now it seems to have decreased.....I can understand the erection isnt taking place as its a problem for now....but the pressure in my stomach which I used to feel has decreased in intensity....I dont know what the hell is wrong with me!!!! Please reply....

I'm a little confused by what you're referring to bishwadeep.

Are you meaning you used to be able to tell when you needed to pee and now have difficulty and it all of a sudden springs upon you?

It could potentially be your pelvic floor muscles. They partly control your ability to hold on going to the toilet. They're also involved in the ejaculation process. I found when I was deeply into my PMO routine I had very poor bladder control and would instantly find myself 'busting' to go to the toilet. However, whenever I've gone through extended PMO/MO-free periods my bladder control has improved dramatically and I can hold back from having to wee for quite a period of time, even when I do really need to go.

I tried to search other peoples stories and look for research regarding it, but found very little specific to bladder control and rebooting and so only have my experience to go by. I'm also a physio though and from my knowledge in regards to the pelvic floor and bladder control it does make sense that regular PMO/MO could potentially weaken your pelvic floor and influence bladder control. But rest assured, there is a lot of evidence (even more than for rebooting) regarding bladder and pelvic floor control being reversible. It's more commonly referred to as kegel exercises.

Keep trucking on with your reboot and I'm sure things will begin to improve. Try not to worry yourself about it too much either as anxiety can also contribute to decreased control.

Thanks a lot for replying.....but the problem that I was facing was that intensity of tension that you feel when you havent peed for long....I was not having that somehow....but the situation has slightly improved today....previously the amount of pee and the amount of pressure signals to my brain were equal or balanced or normal....but yesterday it wasnt so....the amount of pressure on my bladders was not equal to the amount of pee that i peed....anyway...today it seemed a bit closer to normal....

Also....apart from this....I am not feeling like I am missing anything big in my life....it seems like porn has not been my addiction....but after years of masturbation, it somehow has degraded my erection to zero....I dont even long for watching porn....just at times when I have a semi-semi-semi-erection at times....I get the urge to masturbate again.....but I dont!!! Still....its nothing that I cant control....my question is: Am I really suffering from Porn-Induced ED or is it something else?? But I think the situation is better than it was the day I joined....just confused.....please reply as soon as you can.... :) :) :) your posts really help!!!! :)
