hello everyone
I have read many successful reboot stories that gave me hope, however, after nearly 1 year without watching porn, I still suffer ED.
I am 45 years atm, and I started masturbating watching porn magazines when I was around 15 years. I never stopped masturbating except for nearly a year in my early 40s.
When I was 25, I had my first sexual experience with a woman, and she said that my erection was too soft. That opened my eyes and it was hard too digest.
I remembered years earlier, when my erections were hard as steel. But constantly I felt that masturbating was draining my strength and desensitizating my pennis, but I continue nevertheless.
I got married at 28, but somehow, my emotional problems, masturbation, depression and ED, plus a woman not interested in sex, resulted in a sexless marriage.
We only made love to try to have a baby. In order to get an erection, I had to masturbate myself before I could get it inside my wife, and still it was flaccid, I had issues to penetrate, soft, the erection did not last long etc. Somehow and after a long year of attempts my wife got pregnant (such an amazing news).
I kept masturbating watching porn, addicted to dopamine, my erections were softer and softer.
Then when I was around 42, I learnt about rebootnation.org yourbraindonporn etc and I quitted porn, fapping for nearly a year. Yet my penis was still dead. No benefits whatsoever from quitting porn and I relapsed. It was such a blow for me
4-5 years later, we went for a second baby, but I couldn't penetrate her, no erections whatsoever. Extremely sad and depressing
Now, at age 45, I quitted porn fapping around a month a go. I am not planning going back ever.
However, my penis feels completly dead. I am very discouraged that the previous time and after nearly a year without porn, I didn't see any positive progress, whereas everyone else were getting strong erections after only 90 days. It made me wonder, if I have any additional mechanical issue.
I would love to ask here about your opinion. Thank you everyone to such a lovely and supportive community
Do you think there is hope for me? Has my brain gone through too much masturbation/porn from my teenager years that it is beyond repair? any advice?
