Living my past full of Porn

Good day everyone,
My name is M@jor, I'm 26 years old and I have gone a long way ever since I realized the effects of porn in my life. I was 19 when I began to watch porn consistently and this affects my end of year results. As time goes on, I continue the habbit of watching porn since I never had so many girlfriend, I felt into masturbation and it became my daily activity when I had nothing to do. My aim of watching porn was to discover new things and while searching porn of the internet I felt on gay porn which I never knew what it is. It really sound disgusting right from my inside since I am Straight, but I feel attracted to it every time I come across g.. porn videos. This obsession has led me to join uncountable whatsapp and telegram groups just to watch g.. porn and masturbe. I decided to quite all those groups recently because I realize I am not becoming the man I have always dreamed of, the journey to a live without porn is long but I know I will succeed. God be my helper.

You’re not alone. I also became interested in Gay porn even though I am also straight. It could be that you have a bi curious interest. That’s what my therapist helped me discover. Stay strong and don’t feel ashamed.

Have you read Your Brain on Porn by Gary Wilson? I think that would be a very helpful book to start with. As far as Therapist is concerned, it would probably be good to look for a therapist that specializes in sexual behaviors. And I’m here if you need to talk to someone. Stay strong and take it one day at a time.
