Question

Hello everyone,

I have a small question.
There is this Dutch site where I'm on a lot, it contains funny videos and pictures...
The problem is, there are also a lot of videos and images of beautiful woman, I would say (to avoid triggers) they are close to NSFW.
Does viewing these images (or even the thumbnails) cause relapse?
I haven't clicked on them specifically but I see the thumbnails passing by.

Thanks for your time!

I see you are 13 days in, but it is not clear from your counter that you are doing a 90 day reboot.  Question:  are you?  The thing about a reboot is that you should avoid all hypersexualized thought during the reboot.  Those types of thoughts, which are triggered by porn, are really just buttons to get a dopamine boost, and avoiding a dopamine boost during the reboot is how we get rebalanced.  It won't, necessarily, cause you to "relapse" but it is unhelpul.  I advise you avoid the site until at least you are 90 days clean, then, if you feel you are OK with it, you can see how it feels to go there.

Peace.

I second that.  If you are noticing these thumbnails enough to ask whether or not they are healthy for your reboot then they probably aren't.  As you progress you'll notice things that trigger you and you might be as surprised as I have been at what sorts of things trigger me.  I avoid almost anything remotely sexually explicit.  Tv, advertisements, and especially websites.

Not specifically 90 days, I'm just going as far as I can to reboot completely.
I've been in contact with sexual images/videos from a young age and in 2009 is exactly when it got worse and I was 13 when it really got an addiction.
Not sure if 90 days will be enough, but I'm really straight to the point that I don't want to view porn anymore and to feel like my regular self.

Thanks for the information, I will try to avoid that site as much as possible!

I think I under estimated this reboot then, they did not turn me on as I didn't really pay that much attention to them, but I didn't expect either that such small things can have effect.

Thank you for your time to reply!
