Hi there, I've stopped watching porn but then what should I do when movie sex scenes come one the screen . Do the movie sex scenes have an effect on my reboot.

you could skip them? but any sex scene in a movie could not possibly come close to porn, you might feel aroused slightly and this could lead you to look at porn, though. so better try to avoid them altogther

So movie scenes are okay as long as I don't turn to porn, it's also challenging I realized I can it get erections at times when I'm lying on my back, the moment I stand up or change a position I quickly go from 70% hard to almost 10%. Is it going to be normal with time?

Definitely. Those scenes are soft porn, they are not as stimulating as hardcore but they whet the appetite because it gets the dopamine going and it pushes you to want more dopamine which leads back to hardcore. I've decided, at least until I can know for sure where I'm at, to avoid those scenes.

Exactly. It, at best, may give your brain a little taste, but its going to end up leaving you craving more

So should I completely avoid them , the last thing I want is me getting back to porn. I watch the explicit scenes , get aroused but I have never given porn a thought.

I had my one relapse after watching a sex scene in a movie after many months of NoFap, pretty crappy feeling afterwards. The answer might not always be the same, but for right now, I avoid like the plague. Maybe one day I'll be strong enough to handle it. You'll have to make that decision for your self and be ready to fight those triggers.

That's what happens when you become an addict. A little bit won't do anymore, a little bit is just opening the door for the big craving for more. People must not forget this. While "working hard" to become addicts, we ended up giving us insane amounts of dopamine. The brain will not tolerate just a little anymore.

In my case, I just do not watch those movies.
Yesterday someone I was visiting turned on a movie as I was sitting with them and just finished watching another one. There was a scene where a couple was laying in bed, having a conversation loaded with sex and I think it led to a sex scene too, that scene also involved interracial contact - I simply took my book and went to another room.
I don't care about watching such stuff. It made me not care about the whole movie whatsoever. A good movie doesn't need to have this kind of scenes.
