Anybody Know Any Telltale Signs Recovery is Close?

Currently on day 138. Didn’t use P during adolescence, but when covid hit (20y/o) i used a lot of PMO thinking it was training me to be REALLY good later on. Still a virgin. I wanted to know what the days leading up to full recovery were like? I never went back to P after I first learned about it as a cause for ED, but still had isolated MOs during this (typically between 5-18 days (moreso 5-7)). Ive noticed that I can MO w/ a pretty big erection and M for 20-30 minutes and O without ever losing it, but after a couple days of daily/ every other day ejaculations I get put into 5-6 day flatlines where I’m not as hard. I emerge from the flatlines feeling decently happy for each successive day, but my libido still isn’t all the way there. I am planning on going hard-mode until I am 100% fully functional w/ great stamina, but wanted to hear from everyone else: about how many good days in a row should I have before I start reintroducing MO? What symptoms should I look out for to know my brain has healed enough to where I can reintroduce MO without a flatline from too much O? What’s the best schedule for MO to build up to where I can do so again frequently? Thanks in advance :)

Man actually if I am honest from my point of view I would think that we cannot be 100% sure you had PIED because your porn use has not been that strong and if your erections without porn are there, that is good. But well we can never know. But if I were you I would wait to find a sexual partner and then realize how I sexually work with a woman, if you feel completely aroused about her ando you don’t need to think about porn to have an orgasm and you do it without any problem probably you never had PIED but if you feel like sex is not feeling great or it is not what you expect or you cannot maintain an erection it’s time to worry and keep working on it. Personally I don’t think there is not a clear sing which we can realize if we are healed or not. I am in a relationship now and believe me that PIED is not the only problem that masturbation can give you, there is also the death grip syndrome, so just try to avoid masturbation as much as you can.

I know for a fact it was PIED cuz when i really got into porn I would make daily, hour-long sessions out of it w/ lots of clicking. It got to a point where I could barely be aroused by anything, yet i never progressed to stranger genres. At first I thought it was a medical complication, but my health is incredible, and had multiple blood-tests and MRIs done before I understood P could do this. Before, I could barely get hard at all, but now I can sort’ve function, until I O too much in a row and get put into a flatline. I don’t think M is inherently bad, and there are many articles that insist M can actually increase libido over time, and I subscribe to that idea cuz I used to M all the time and for long periods of time without P ever since I first starting M’ing around 11 years old, and my libido was always incredibly high. Only when i REALLY got involved in P did my libido tank, and i DO believe that a decent amount of time away from regular MO is necessary, but don’t think M alone will cause ED. I also don’t worry about the death-grip too much cuz I always use lube when I MO, and never had it before. My plan is to wait a lil bit longer for my dopamine receptors 2 heal, since I can tell they aint all the way there yet, and then try again w/ women, but I was mostly curious as to how I would feel and what to expect once they healed enough to NOT get thrown into a depressive episode after a few Os. Also, I feel that rewiring isn’t THAT much of an issue for me since im always surrounded by women, and I used to fantasize like crazy my whole life, but that my issue is mostly due to my dopamine receptors being not-healed enough.

I understand bro, just keep in mind that death grip syndrome is not only using lubrication or not, it is also about how tight is your grip or how fast you masturbate. So please make sure when you try it again that your grip is not that strong. And I’m saying please because you don’t know how frustrating has been for me to get hard an cannot keep my erection inside my girlfriend’s pussy, it has made me feel so insecure…and I don’t blame any other thing apart of masturbation and I don’t want anybody to feel the same as me because is horrible.
