A Minor Breakthrough

I had a realization. There can be a lot of feelings and situations that directly contribute to addiction. What I am doing is three things.

1. Realize that porn is hurtful to myself and those I love. Therefore, it's not an option.

2. Separate from and confront the feelings that led to this situation/addiction directly and coldly/logically.

3. While keeping my mind clean, attack and change those feelings from negatives into positives. I think that dealing with the root causes can aid in permanent recovery. For me, it has been depression and anxiety. If I can rid myself of those things, I can get healthy again.

Thoughts? This is going to be my approach. I know that everyone has a different journey out of the fog, but I think this could be my lighthouse.
