Question about flatline and testosterone

Hey everyone.
I have tryed nofap for a while but still never got more then a 10 days streak. I also never had a flatline so far, but I would like to know something.
It is know that men who stays for some time without ejaculating lower the levels of testosterone.
The way people describe the sympton of the flatlines, it looks a lot with the symptons of having low testosterone. In the past while I was younger I used some steroids, and after the use your body shut down testosterone production and what I felt seems a lot with what people describe.
This thing is still new and there is not medical controled research, so i would like to know: Did anyone measure their testosterone while flatlining? Can we be so sure that the symptons of those flatlines are really caused because of the dopamine paths? Without reasearch, is is not a litle risky to believe so?
I am not questioning the importance of porn adiction and I really want to get rid of it. But can't maybe total abstinence cause low testo? For the people who kept having regular sex and regular ejaculations, did you also flatlined?

Sorry for my english.

Total abstinence does not lower testosterone, total abstinence may lower libido for healthy individuals. But porn addicts are not healthy individuals so that can't be applied to us.

When I was flat lining and at the peak of my addiction my testosterone measured 800ng/dl and I had zero libido.

I don't believe it's risky. I believe it's riskier ignoring thousands of good anecdotes to wait for empirical data. Especially with something which has the potential to harm erections, libido, energy, motivation, emotion and sense of self worth.

There have been 2 studies on porn. I'm not sure if they measured dopamine but they did provide evidence for the similarities between porn addiction and other addictions which we know for a fact impact dopamine.

When you used steroids, did you use post cycle therapy and did you have your blood work checked after use?

Lots of guys with PIED measured their T before and during their reboot. We have only seen a few men with slightly low T. They rebooted and regained normal erectile functioning. More than a few have tried T, and it did nothing.

Can we be so sure that the symptons of those flatlines are really caused because of the dopamine paths?  Without reasearch, is is not a litle risky to believe so?
I suggest this faq - http://yourbrainonporn.com/whats-the-connection-between-orgasm-and-testosterone-levels

The studies are all over the place. Two ED studies have shown a slight increase in testosterone when guys who had years of chronic ED start having sex again. But contrast this with the fact that most studies on erectile dysfunction show no difference in T between those with chronic ED and normal men?

Then ponder that the 2 abstinence studies show no change in testosterone? Then all the animal studies that show no significant change int T by either sexual exhaustion or abstinence.

Then we have logic. Millions of 12, 13, 14 year old boy have not masturbated, yet their T is high (and rising), and they have erections all day and all night.

I have lower T than most guys rebooting (I'm old), yet I don't have a flatline, and neither do millions of other men my age.

In addition, Testosterone would have sink very low to cause the symptoms associated with flatline. Really low. Absolutely no evidence that this occurs. None.

Thank you Gary Wilson and OSS for your answers. Everyone in this forum is helping me a lot. I wish I had joined earlier. I hope I can finally beat this addiction.
Thank you all.
