Terrible Pied 116 days in

Hey guys,

Yesterday was the 116th day of my reboot, and over this time I MO'd only twice. I'm 19 year old Sophomore in college. I thought I was healing to some extent, because I've been getting pretty consistent morning wood and stuff, so I decided to try to get laid last night on Halloween. I said fuck it and went over to this girl's apartment at like 3am, and I was a little bit drunk and on a few other drugs--which I' sure didn't help my cause. But anyway, we made out for a while and she was on top of me naked and I got NOTHING going on down there. She tried to help me get it up in every way possible and absolutely nothing happened. Obviously I was super devastated and embarrassed. I really thought after 116 days I would have made some progress and could have at least done something. I don't know what to do now, should I just go another 90 days hardmode and then try again after that?? Please help!

Thanks a lot

Keep trying bro. Try to just relax and not think so much about getting hard. I know this is easier said than done, but the anxiety of performance is a huge erection killer. Just hang out, have fun, and hook up with girls and don't rush into sex until you feel that you are good and ready for it. Meaning, if you don't have an erection, just don't move into that direction. Keep up with the reboot, and I would recommend that you stay away from anything higher than weed (except maybe psychadelics because, let's face it, those are awesome  8).)

Also, I'm just curious, when did you start using porn? That's one of the main contributors to the length of your reboot.

Thanks for your response PresidentCoolidge. I probably starting using porn about 5-6 years ago. Do you think I just need more time to reboot?

Yeah probably. I don't know how much more time that you need, but whatever it is, that's how long you have to give yourself...sorry. You have to remember that you started on Internet porn during puberty so those pathways are pretty deep. Just remember that good things come to those who wait.

Hey friend! Coolidge is right, a lot of people are needing more than the "standard" 90 days to reboot. I know for me personally, I only really started to see tangible, lasting improvements 9-12 months in my reboot. Don't get discouraged by that - a year or two of effort now will give you a perfectly healthy sex life the rest of your.

As for what you should do now: I think your hard mode idea is a fantastic idea. Obviously quitting porn forever is a must, but besides that, reboots are sort of different for everyone. Some people orgasm with partners, some people masturbate (w/o porn) occasionally, some choose to completely abstain. I think the surest and fastest way to reboot is by doing short periods of hard mode rebooting. 90 days (in my opinion) is perfect for a complete no orgasm streak. After that, have an orgasm with a partner (if you can) and see where you are at.

But remember (!) that you can reboot however you think will work fast for you. There are some people who can't imagine recovering without a study routine of orgasms in their reboot. It's different for everyone!

Think about how short 116 days is to a brain that has been primarily stimulated by porn for 5-6 years!

Not to mention: First time I tried to have sex with my now girlfriend? NOTHING. The next time? NOTHING!! 4 months later, after experiencing variable problems with PIED throughout, I've started reboot... and had sex with her this past weekend 4-5 times, all fantastic.

I would recommend hard mode, unless you find a girl who you really like - and then just take it slow. I bet you'll get a boner just kissing her if the time is right.
