Replacements for P

I have been searching the forums for a list of things people replaced P with and haven't found a list. I thought it would be a good idea to have a bunch of examples of little things that can be done instead of watching P when you feel like watching it. If anyone wants to post a list of things I might have missed or would like to post things they did to replace P with a healthy habit, that would be helpful to me because this is my first day and I have no idea what I am going to replace it with.

I'd like to suggest sports, art, reading and meditation. There are so many different sports that it is impossible to do not find something that you wouldnt like to do. The same happens with reading and making art. Personally i never liked school's lectures but i have found a kind of books i like and i read a lot. Maybe researching for what you like and trying new things would be good replacement itself.

Today i have read that singing is good to stop the negative thinking. Can apply to urges and withdrawal for sure  ;D

I started lifting for about an hour every morning, and running for a half hour every night. This has had a huge impact on me, and I believe it's one of the things that has helped me get this far in my reboot.

I have made some days a go a list of things to do that will give me fun, when i will have an urge. To every activity i put some goal, for exemple when running i decide to run at least 30 minutes, or run 10 in less than 45 minutes. (I use it when having urges and it works, instead of "resisting" an urge i have fun).  Here is the list:
Phisical:
- Riding a bike
-Running
-Push ups
-Workout
-Basketball
-Cleaning a room
-Cooking
-Taking a walk
-Skateboarding (downhilling)
-Cold shower
Mentally:
-Reading a book
-Drawing
-Meditation
-Writing goals of my life
-Reading aloud slowly
Relaxing:
-Watching South Park
-Eating
-Taking a nap
-Meeting friends
-Cafe
-Listening to music
-Singing
-Dancing

When you feel like wanting to PMO what you really need is not PMO but doing one of the those things (in my case this list, you could make one yourself).

I lately summed up the time I spent on P and related sources of dopamine kicks...then I though about what wonderful things I could have done instead - things that are actually worth the time, because they have a positive effect for the rest of the day. In my opinion these are the things we should do as a replacement, generally spoken.

Didn't you want to fix *whatever*? Do it! You now have the time for it, because there is something that does not take up time anymore. Didn't you always say you wanted to start skating, biking, hiking, freeclimbing....? Now is the time!

This is the way I see it. A time spot has become free. We always complain that one day only has 24 hours and that there were sooo many things we'd like to do. Now we have the opportunity to actually do these things :) whatever there is for you!

Of course we do not always want to do "useful" stuff. Watching P has sometimes been like watching stupid TV. Just lay back and enjoy. When I have the urge to do something like that, I allow myself to find a replacement that is as stupefying but has less bad influence on my brain. --> Computer games. Maybe not the addictive ones like WoW, but strategy games or card games or something.

This article at AoM mentions several things that can help: http://www.artofmanliness.com/2014/10/09/how-to-quit-porn/

It seems like others have mentioned, exercise is a good way to go. It's part of my plan to kick the habit.
