Well, what is considered "normal"? That's just a very vague term. Still, you are designed to have an erection while being aroused to be prepared for intercourse - from nature's point of view. Therefore, I'd second the previous three posts. Personally, I noticed tremendous changes during previous streaks.
A lot of people report fluctuations in there ability to get hard depending on the situation, so I would THINK that your experience is similar to that.
