Not addicted to Porn

I am not addicted to porn. It was a boredom thing that became a habit. Does anyone else have that sentiment? I do however have PIED and want to cure it ASAP. I have not watched porn for 6 days and don't miss it at all. I am great with women and am a very flirty person. All my problem is in the PIED not in the addition to porn. I feel that I am going through a faster progression than most. I am wondering if that I think my fast recovery is because Im overly optimistic or actually not addicted to the PORN and thus aiding in the assistance of the PIED? Any other experience this?

IMHO, 6 days is too short a period to tell you anything meaningful about the nature of your porn habit or whether you have PIED, how long it will take to overcome it, etc.

Keep on the straight path and give yourself more time to see the benefits of staying away from porn.

your ability to get hard is dependent on pornography... I call that an addiction.

I have the exact same thing.  I'm not addicted to porn in the sense I needed it for survival.  I just was bored and enjoyed looking at beautiful women, I mean who wouldn't?!  Had I known it would cause PIED I would have never started in the first place.

6 days is great, just keep going.  If you're not interested in porn that makes rebooting much easier.  Just stay away from visual stimulation and fantasy, and you'll be back in no time!

Do people that become constantly aroused by women recover sooner? I started this because I would get no physical reaction to women on the street i thought were pretty. No even a wiggle. THen i noticed I could not grind my nightly erection on the sheets or do it to wake my self up. This morning I already noticed the smallest amount of progress and I am looking forward if I get a little closer tomorrow. I was just hoping that someone could clarify that if i am not in need of porn and just a sexual guy will the PIED go away faster?

Reboot times are different for different people.  Don't expect to just be better within 6 days.    For some it takes 2 weeks.. for others it takes over a year.

A lot of people incorrectly think they are "sexual guys" or have a "very high libido" just because they used to PMO so many times a day.  The fact of the matter was, was your body was not really horny all those times, you just got "addicted" to going to porn, and that addiction caused you to get aroused and PMO.

Hope this helps!
