Internet causing ED?

I was just thinking about something. What if it is actually internet in general that is causing these problems? I am talking about loss of mw, libido in real women, etc. Now I know this sounds stupid, but let me take myself as an example.

I had been addicted to porn. But is not the only internet addiction i had. Even now i am spending hours on fb, insta, but a hell a lot on youtube. Like I am so addicted to novelty, clicking and clicking and clicking on youtube videos so I keep getting little shots of information to be satisfied. I am starting to think that I am overstimulating my brain in different ways other than porn as well.

What if these internet addictions like youtube actually desensitize your brains in a way were you lose: morivation in life, concentration and reduced emotions: yes, being horny is also a emotion followed by an erection when turned on.

I think we would be all better of if all the rebooters limit their internet use. This is just a theory I am having for quite some time now, and I think I am just gonna try to limit my internet use and eliminate all my internet addictions (yt, fb, insta and everything else that gives little shots of information). I hope I will see some results.

(Btw don't get me wrong, I now porn in the problem here but I just have the feeling that internet in general plays a small role in this)

Lol, addiction of any kind is bad. But to say the internet causes ED is too fat fetched, I think. You just have to balance your life and time.  Take interest in some sports offline or whatever. Internet addiction can be very bad for one's relationship as well as you tend to spend less time with your other half.

Cheers.

Personally, I believe the habit of novelty, of search and the "clicky-clicky-syndome" can indeed affect your brain. Not in a sexual way, but in terms of the ability to concentrate, focus, acquire information at a deeper level and generally speaking be interesed in input that doesn't come with the same high speed and immediate availability of the Internet.

Can't agree with you more! And ofcourse the title of this topic is a bit extreme, but I personally think that getting rid of the habit of novelty might actually help a reboot, because other brain changes occur and since your brain is a network where everything is connected, it might help the reboot as well.

Let's say the novelty habit is not good for our brains and it's wise to at least contain it, if not get rid of it completely.

And if it positively affects the reboot, even better! After all, taking a slower approach and regaining the ability to focus on just one thing and not being shallow about it does relate to PIED.
