I may have found possible supplemental solution

Three weeks ago, I started taking supplements.  1 low dose of omega 3 per day and alternating between a low dose of vitamin D one day and a low dose of a multi vitamin prostate support supplements the next day.  I am seeing noticeable improvements in libido as well as my dick going out of flatline and looking more "fuller".  My erections have also gotten a bit stronger.  Still weak, but they got more firm.  I've taken omega 3 before so I know it's probably not what's causing this improvement.  It's either the Vitamin D or the Multi-vit prostate support supplements.

I can't figure out which one though.  I have a feeling the improvement was caused by the supplements, because I was in a flatline, before and it just so happens that I got out feeling way better around the same time as I started taking the supplements.  However, I don't know for sure, because I also recently changed my sleeping scheduling to 9pm-5am, so maybe that was what returned my libido?  Does anyone have experience with supplements and know whether the vitamin D is what's been helping or if it was the prostate support multi vit?

If the prostate support multi vit is the changing factor, then I am quite worried, because perhaps that means I have an issue with my prostate.  Please give input if you can.
PS- Ignore my counter, it's been 536 days since I quit watching porn.  The other stuff has been on & off.

Hey there.

I'm taking Acetyl L-Carnitine and Maca as supplements. They do the exact same thing so far. My libido has somewhat returned after taking these. This gives me urges, which is kind of difficult to handle, as I'm avoiding orgasms altogether.
But nevertheless, I'm beginning to see some changes as well. I have no idea if this is a placebo effect I'm experiencing, or the real deal, though.

Can you elaborate on your multi vitamin prostate support supplements? What's in them?

Same, but I've been on reboot since May 2014.  I got used to suppressing urges.
This is the multi vit: http://www.newchapter.com/multivitamin/every-man-ii
Kinda worried about whether I should continue using it as it says specifically made with nutrients needed for 40+ year old men, and I'm only 20

I see it contains Maca root. This is what I'm also taking. That might be the answer, although the dosage is lower for you. I'm taking 500 mg of maca root, 2x a day.

I have found multiple times that you could supplement with Carnitine (alcar) for your androgen receptors (a part in your brain and muscles that gets fried when you binge on porn) and you can take something like maca root or "horny goat weed", which are both somewhat of an aphrodisiac. There are other stuff you could try to take as well, like Ginseng. I haven't tried Ginseng yet, but it's supposed to give you a tingly feeling.

So, personally, I'd stop taking the multivitamin you're taking right now. You can experiment with the different types of vitamins that are in there without too much trouble. Most of what's in there are over-the-counter vitamins, so you can get them anywhere, in any shop.

EDIT: I also see it contains vitamin D3. This is an aromatase blocker. Aromatase converts testosteron to estrogen, or so I have read on the internet (http://www.yourbrainrebalanced.com/index.php?topic=30060.0 and http://www.steroidtimes.com/vitamin-d-aromatase-inhibitor/2010). Basically, you can get estrogen in your body, which can also block androgen receptors, which can also lead to problems.

So definitely supplement with Vitamin D3 and maca. Try this and figure out if it gives you the same effect?

Hey wus up guys. i currently passed 140 days with no porn and masturbation but i did use a supplement on the first month of my reboot. It is called Jalkoy and the key ingredients is maca, fenugreek, ginkgo biloba, and korean ginseng. I can say for the first 3 weeks of taking this supplement i didnt see any results. My morning wood wasn't hard and my erections weren't either but by the month of taking it i seen the dramatic change. I was getting that solid hard erection every morning. shit even when i took a nap. My erections were hard again and honestly i was happy and i thought i was cured. That was my mistake but i still continued my reboot with no porn but i made a mistake of edging quite a few times. I mean this supplement had my libido going so it was pretty hard not fantasizing of woman or just seeing a beautiful woman walking down the street and having these sexual thoughts. I only had a month of this supplement and my hard erections continued for a couple weeks after i had finished my months supply  but i decided to get off the supplement to see if i was really cured. I would say by my second month of my reboot i was back to weak erections and morning wood. I still had a pretty decent libido but it hit me that this PIED shit was real. Im still trucking it and i just passed my 4th month but it can be very frusterating. Honestly i work 12 hour shifts and im always at the gym so i havent really had time to socialize with woman too much but i mean for a guy who has a girlfriend or just friends with benefits, this jalkoy supplement can make it a lot easier. I personally just want to get to back to normal without the supplements but honestly i would like your guys opinions. thanks guys

Hey there mike510.

There are two paths to take when rebooting. One is the abstaining from porn and masturbation. The second one is rewiring. If you've been abstaining for four months, and still have low libido, I think it's time for some rewiring. Get out there, get to meet someone. You don't have to have sex right away; but talking, hugging, kissing, ... is all equally important. I think you should place your focus on that.

Hey there Bailhope,

thanks for the advice. With this 12 hour stressful job, i think its made it pretty hard for me to go out there but im definitely gonna take your advice. i think just the pressure to perform has made me isolate myself and just focus on my job and the gym which has clearly been a wong way at looking at my situation. thanks again bro and hopefully this nightmare ends soon

You can always try to meet up with someone via the internet first, with for instance a dating site. That's something you can use regardless of your time window.
Also, by being honest to the one you eventually meet, and telling her you have a problem, you'll reduce that pressure to perform greatly. If ever it comes to that, let me know. I've written up some advice on how to handle it which worked kinda well in my past.
