Dear All i would like to start discussion about your experience about the so-called superpowers. Personally i experienced after give up PMO during first 10 days of nofap, then actually i entered inside tough flatline with depression and sense of lonelyness.
I have a personal opininion about superpowers and reason why are experienced from so many people.
When you are completely inside PMO you pass 3-4-5 hrs per day PMO ing often with festish depravated porn, you start feeling something is wrong with you. At the same time you start to be paranoid and anxious in social situations, you feel the people around  sees too something wrong in you (low selfconfidence)
When you realize about connection between porn and your low social skills with people and girls, you start looking in internet for people who have same experience...bingo! you start reading YBOP and reddit and suddently you think all problems of your life or at least most are related to porn.
The enthusiasm to find something that can change your life immediately can  boost amazingly your mood and make you feel superman!
So my conclusion is  that what is experienced once you give up PMO (and you constantly read forums) is a placebo effect, supported too by no orgasm that boost your sexual energy.
Aniway i believe that Nofap can give you a much better life (otherwise i would already give up) but the benefits in my opinion are tangible after some months, when you complete your reboot.
This happen becouse even if your approach to life is much better you need some time to change the environment around you, even if you start to be friendly need some time to develop close relationships with friends and girls, your colleagues take a while to realize that now they can trust you.

At the moment to recover i am following recovery nation workshop. They say that first period after awareness to have an addiction is usually followed by strong commitment to change. Once this commitment is established strong emotions like euphoria, power and huge selfconfidence provide huge kick off for recovery.
People during this phase tend to have unrealistic expectations, they believe to be recovered since they are abstaining and feel so good. usually this period is followed by setbacks and more effort to substain a real and durable recovery.
I believe this could be a reasonable explanation for superpowers, a strong commitment to change moves inside the people strong sentiments of upswing, that is positive aniway, since is  a necessary kick off point for a durable and healthy recovery.
