Failure to wet dream

I woke up at around 1am with a lot of pressure in my groin, sweating and breathing hard. Felt like I was nearing orgasm, but nothing happened. Then I was trying to fall back asleep and my quick dreams were very sexual. At one point I woke up rubbing myself on the mattress. I thought once I went into REM again that I'd get morning wood and that would finally lead to a wet dream. Woke up at 4:30, no release, went to gym and had an insane work out. Now I'm gonna take a cold shower and hopefully tonight my body will be on the same page as my mind and my junk and I'll actually get this over with. Has this happened to anyone here? I would just like to wake up and know it happened, not wake up about to O and then be let down. There was no way I was finishing off on my own. Am I not relaxed enough? Maybe I should meditate before bed. My training schedule is very intense and traditionally I don't flatline. First time I did nofap I had one wet dream, but had S four or five times during the 90 days. If there's a trick to wet dreams, please let me know. This is such a strange post but this is where I'm at.

it happens to me almost every time before a wet dream. couple of nights im having near O dreams and then goes wet one.

i think edging during the day or before sleep would increase your chances of a wet dream but it is definitely not recommended to do. edging is the worst part of porn addiction, its the wiring part and getting artificially aroused is the main thing you should avoid as a recovering porn addict. conclusion is to just let your body decide when its time and let yourself go about your life. trying to force it can be counterproductive.
