I Feel Like Abstaining From MO Makes It Harder To Break Porn Addiction

I've had a life long battle with porn addiction.  About 10 years ago I accepted the fact that I was an addict.  I've tried numerous times to quit, but the cycle is always the same: quit > delete all my porn > go a month or so without PMO > become uncontrollably horny > PMO again > Binge

I'm just wondering, is it okay if I occasionally MO during my reboot as a way to control my sexual cravings?  I feel like if I don't, it just builds and builds and builds to the point where I'm so horny I can't think about anything else.  I need an occasional release.

I'm not an expert but in your case masturbating to sensation alone would be fine.  As an added step though it's important to harness that energy and go out and build a new life.  Is there other ways to get rid of the horniness besides masturbation?  Running, swimming etc?  Now is the time to get those urges under control which every man has to learn at some point.  Today with access to porn everywhere you go it is really hard but you can do it!

I totally agree, you just need to find something more proactive to do. You could also try meditation that can help also.

To stay busy is key.
Not to think about PMO or being horny is another key. You will find it very difficult to stop MO if you think that you are horny, and or deprived of something. So fill that bad habit with something more positive, more productive, more life changing. The reward will be great!
