So yesterday, I realized that I've been feeling kind of foggy for the past few days. Have some trouble sleeping, I felt mildly depressed and I was feeling some urges to look at questionable material on Facebook and Youtube. It then dawned on me that I haven't masturbated for almost nine months because of my reboot! I've only had about 10 wet dreams and orgasmed with the females a few times. Basically, I knew that I was coming along very well in my recovery and so I decided to try masturbating to see if it would make me feel better.
I did everything correctly; used lubricant, gripped my penis very lightly, and did not fantasize AT ALL! I just stared at my bookcase and tried to get aroused only by the sensation of my hand. It worked like a charm! I finished in less than a minute, when suddenly a gigantic amount of semen came shooting out like a civil rights hose! Free at last! Free at last! Thank God Almighty! Free at last!!! I felt so much relief. I'm honestly glad that I did it. I'm not going to do it again for a while, but I'm glad to know that I'm at the point where I can do it the way nature intended...without high-speed Internet porn. My sensitivity is restored!
Keep in mind that this has not ruined my progress, because I had MW this morning and I still feel great. Administrators on this site and on YBOP will tell you that they have no opinion on masturbation, only porn. Here's my opinion. I think that masturbation, without pornography, is very healthy for you, as long as you do not do it compulsively. Think about it, there are something like 100 different species of mammals who masturbate, so it's obviously natural. It's a natural depression reliever, it helps regulate blood pressure, it can help prevent premature ejaculation, and it can help you wire for the real thing. This is just my opinion. I don't think you HAVE to masturbate, as long as you have an active sex life. Most physicians who are serious will tell you that doing no-orgasm as a long-term lifestyle choice is unhealthy.
So, that's my take on it. I'm probably going to MO every once in awhile from now on (maybe once a month.) If I start having a more active sex life, I really don't see the need for it, however. And of course, I will always stay away from porn. Enjoy your Saturday.
Hope you found my opinion insightful,
