Brain fog is an inability to focus and an inability to maintain attention. Can't do you job or studies. Just want to procrastinate all the time.
I had it bad recently and it is awful when you have a job and deadlines.

Ah, i see. But anyway, at the moment i feel like im producing a lot more. When i binge used porn i would edge for hours and see a lot of movies, search for them and download them. This could be many hours long...
Even if i have brainfog, i guess it wont affect me as much as porn. It was a massive time sink. Now i feel i have a lot more time for myself and my work. Hope it stays that way during the next time that i will go through.

P is a an extremely time consuming hobby . That's one of the many reasons for staying clean. Brain fog is just temporary.
I am amazed at how much stuff I can get done on a good day, when I am clean.
Quickly calculate the number of hours you think you spent on porn, and then imagine all the stuff you could have done or skills you could have learnt instead

Yeah, its kinda sad :/. And i was also a gamer. So in total it would be an huge ammount of time between the two things (the gaming one nowadays wasnt so intense as i became a casual player). Dunno how i managed to study and get along with my friends in between but luckily i did.
I hope from now on i can achieve a lot more now that i am clean. Its a nice motivation for us, indeed.

I too spent a whole lot of hours gaming. Thankfully it was an order of magnitude easier to quit than P.

Does everyone during a flatline get brainfog or does it vary? I had it I think, when I got my ED. Not sure if brain fog with ED happens only during certain circumstances?
I'm pretty sure everyone gets brain fog.
How I picture it is like how our car window goes during rain and we badly need a wiper to clear it. And I would say P is that wiper. Though... it' might look like it's clearing. But thts just temporary. What's worse is the feeling of guilt than a brain fog which is very temporary. I'm now going thru that problem and I'm very scared. I will make it hopefully
