Has anyone here experienced chronic fatigue which they think was linked to porn?

-- Have you seen guys go through intense withdrawals like what I'm potentially describing here? As far as you're concerned, is it entirely possible that what I'm experiencing is related to coming off of porn 3 months ago?

I hesitate to assign causation to what I've been experiencing simply because it can't be proven, but hypothetically speaking is it possible that this is what's happening? I wonder if masturbating after I hit 90 days is what threw me into such a dark hole of depression, because perhaps my brain was expecting to get overloaded with dopamine and when that wasn't the result, it retaliated (because I did so without porn or porn fantasy). If that happened to be true, then I wonder how long it might be until I can experience my sexuality. I don't even have a libido to speak of right now so I guess it's irrelevant anyways.

Are you familiar with the term “chaser?”

Yeah I think so, in the context of porn it means that after using it you will feel more inclined to use it again. Right?

How is that relevant in this context? When I masturbated around day 90 it was without porn and without porn fantasy. I might be having a slow brain day lol but I’d sure appreciate any elaboration on all this you might be willing to provide.

At any rate, have you seen guys suffer from the apparent severity of symptoms that I’m describing here (fatigue, depression, etc.) in the context of porn, even after 90 days without it? Or does this all seem a little too severe at this point to likely be closely related?

No, it follows ejaculation...for some, and can be very pronounced, especially during recovery while the brain is out of balance.

I see. Even after 90 days without PMO such a thing could occur?

And I’d like to ask once more - have you seen guys struggle with the kind of severity of symptoms I’ve been describing (as it relates to fatigue, depression, etc.) even this far into their reboot? How likely is it that what I’m dealing with has any connection with porn? I’m talking mostly about the overwhelming daily fatigue and such

People don't always report on withdrawal symptoms in their recovery stories, so I really can say. I'm sorry.

No worries. I had at least one porn addiction coach tell me he felt like my issues might likely primarily lie elsewhere due to what I’m experiencing this far along. But as I said before I don’t want to use that as an excuse to go back go it.

I wrote to you that a lot of rebooters suffer from low energy, I had zero, almost 10 years in total. And I started coming after 3 years of rebooting, and then at times I still feel a decline in strength.
Perhaps your sleep disorder worsens the other symptoms, because with a lack of sleep, all my symptoms worsened, especially my energy level.
90 days is a formality, everyone has their own severity of addiction and recovery time depends on many factors. So forget that figure.
In general, after many years spent in addiction, without having a libido like you, I did not experience anything on the 90th day, and for 6 months I did not experience any changes for the better.

And after 6 months, what happened?

Then I started a new cycle of hard regime for 1.5 years and it completely changed me, my energy level gradually, slowly grew, anxiety decreased and there was a slight depression sometimes. Libido returned, but still weak.
