Thanks for your message.  Hope you are doing well.

As you know, I am dealing with two difficulties. Have news for both of them. Last Sunday morning I had sex with my wife. We had full intercourse and a good time. She just loved it. I was very happy to see her happy and to realized that my masculinity can still be vibrant. After, maybe, 8 months, I reached orgams for the first time.  It took me a while to ejaculate, but I did it. I will keep on my committment of no PMO that is making my life much better, including family relationship.  At this time my erection was the hardest since I recovered prostatectomy surgery and radiotherapy. It leads me to the conclusion that I could have had such a similar erection much before I had banished PMO earlier from my life.  I learned the lesson late, but not too late. There is still time.

Secondly, tomorrow very early in the morning I will fly to another town to be interviewed for a position in a company. I have good expectations.

Wish you peace and serenity.

Best regards.

Blue Bird.

That's good to hear, on both counts. Stopping PMO is the best thing you can do for yourself and your family. Best wishes on the interview.

Hey Guys:

Thanks for asking and for your attention. Hope all is well with you.  I have been posting in other journals but left mine unattended for good reasons.  I had no good news to tell.  Got depressed and decided to meditate about this.

I did the interview two weeks ago.  Although the interview had been ok, there were no good results. The guy that interviewed me felt attacked by my professional experience and finished the conversation (in a very polite way, of course).  Being 52 years old  is quite a challenge to get a job. I reached the top in my professional career and due to this there are very few jobs available which will probably be fulfulled by younger guys with lower salary.  I understand this in a rational way, but do not accept it.  My daughters are still young and I want to work for at least ten years more.  I was depressed for many days. Now I am thinking about my next challenges and steps.

Together with the depression I felt less encouraged and unfortunately PMOed like crazy for several days. I got very disappointed with myself.  I finally reset the counter and I am beginning again. It is very difficult to stop a bad habit of 32 years. The good news is that I did not watch porn at all.  At least something worked well.  But I will keep on.

At home life is good with my wife. She understands the job situation.  She says I am healthier now. Less high blood pressure, less pils, no stomach burns, no corporate stress.

Will begin again.

You have a wonderful and understanding wife. In my opinion that makes you a very rich man!

It is hard to stop this addiction but you can and will! A relapse can be used as part of the learning. I relapsed several times in the last 3-4 years but keep marching on my path to freedom.

Hi Blue Bird,

I am sorry that you are addicted to PMO. I am truly sorry that anyone on our beautiful planet finds themselves addicted to anything...

I am very happy that you have come to Reboot Nation and are sharing your recovery with all of us. We can support each other. As one of us learns something he can offer it as a suggestion for others. We can all learn about what works , what helps and what does not.

It is great that you are doing well and writing an honest account of your journey.

You mentioned that you are in the south part of South America, is it winter now?

Yeah, it's been a while, friend. Don't make me have to fly down to Tierra Del Fuego and ask you in person. :)

Hey guys:

Thanks for remembering me and caring. Hope you are all doing well.  Yes, it has been a while since I flew very high and disappeared from the forum ....    :)  I guess I needed some meditation time. Tough work this... to stop PMO.  :(

My dad got very sick. He is 80 years old. I had to travel to see him. He is better now, but still very old. I call him almost everyday.

This is winter time here. Very cold some days. School vacation was changed due to the worldcup.  We left for vacation for several weeks.  Were in Munich, Strasbourg, NY and Chicago. Nice places, warm weather.  We came back last week.

I decided to begin a master's degree in order to become a college teacher instead of coming back to the hell corporate world.  Decisions that will take a while to get accomplished.

My battle against PMO continues.  Not good results.  But I will go on.

Although I was away from the forum, I always had all of you in my mind.  You are my buddies.  All the best.

Hey, thanks for the update.
Pursuing the degree to become a college professor is an awesome goal to have.
I think your focus in an effort to seeing this through will help in you overcoming
your addiction. Any time you can get focus on something that can occupy your
mind more, it doesn't leave enough room to jerk off to porn.
It's a good thing, go for it!
