Thanks. I will hang in. Good luck to you, mate.

Glad that I started again. Feeling comfortable. So far, so good. Less fog, which is a fine little thing. :)

I'm happy it's going good for you!
I feel the same, and while I don't want to feel invincible, I don't want to live in fear, you know? I think it's important to have a good balance of confidence and awareness.

Yes, confidence is only good if you have awareness, too. Only be confident about what you are aware of. Otherwise it will turn out badly, since you are getting way to focused on things you cannot control mentally.

Things are getting a little tougher. Mind is clear and I am becoming more and more courageous about life in general again. But the natural urge is quite strong today.

So far, so good. Urges stronger and stronger, but well, that's nature. :) Quite confident these days, although I have some difficult tasks to do,which require my whole attention.

Head is hurting. Mood is bad. Things are quite nasty. Urges are huge. Difficult time in general, too. Gotta keep going.

you seem to have a great positive energy man , and it is very refreshing to see that, what master degree you have in mind ? And how is this journey affecting your studies and mind set to it .I think you speech French , but your English is very good .

I?m probably in the same circumstances like you. 22 year old, working out and having a lot of vision for my studies and hopes.
keep up the good work ;)

Thanks for your good words. French is almost correct.. :D I'm from Germany.

I've finished my master degree in Business Administration and simultaneously a bachelor in Philosophy.

Concerning your question how all that has affected my studies: You have to keep in mind that the early twenties are a time in which many things change. Of course you don't realize this in the exact moment but (I sound like an old fart :D) everything will make sense when you become older. Overcoming porn (and the abuse of all that stuff) is hence only one (important!) factor of you journey and will only have great impact if you are also develop your life as a whole. Some "direct" benefits of stopping masturbation, however: more focus, more self-esteem (escpecially on long streaks), better memory, more balance in your life (study hard but also have fun in life - I never had much fun when I fell back into abusive habits).

Just make sure you don't give all your hopes to stopping masturbation and porn. It's only one factor of many, but an important one. Start improving all the things you don't like (the most urgent ones at first, of course) and always challenge yourself. There will be setbacks, but life is a long-term project.

Feel free to ask me anything you want, of course. :)

Entry of today: I seem to be fine again. :)

Quite a lot to do. That's perfectly fine, however. Distracts me from certain things, doesn't it? :D

Since I don?t have anyone to talk about this issue in real life, I decided to join this new forum - literally seen as a new chance.

You came to the right place. It's tough, as I have people to talk to about it but it's never an easy conversation to have anyway, unless someone is going through the same struggle. So we're here for you :)

I want to mention that my first language is not english.

Your English is fantastic! :D

My goal is to 1) solve my problems and 2) inspire other guys (and get inspired myself).

That's sick - I appreciate it and you're already well on your way. Just opening up and keeping a journal like this is inspiring to other guys who are struggling. Keep it up brother.
