Thanks @First_step_thousand_miles, it feels great being back at this weight again. I do think the holistic approach to all of this is really necessary.
Today, and for the last while in fact, my mind is feeling really sexual but not sexualized, and in fact, I would say very clam. If I could feel like this all the time - and I think I will one day soon - that would really be something to look forward to.

I did cold showers briefly a few years ago. I think I abandoned it when I went on vacation and then lost the nerve to go back. But kind of remember what you mean. It's a little mental challenge to yourself and it feels good to overcome your nerves and jump in. Maybe I'll give it a shot again.

Yeah @jonazo91 give it a shot! A couple of the guys around here, @SmokenMirrors and @First_step_thousand_miles, got me on it, and I'm liking it so far. At the moment, I haven't noticed any of the health benefits that might come with it, besides just the mental kick and the high I get from doing something that seems really hard at first and not very pleasant. Now, it's almost enjoyable.

Keep doing it man, the mental benefits really take a month or so to kick in (beyond the immediate benefits of course as you mention). Either way, I think it's good to introduce a little hardship in your life bit by bit to become more resilient over time!

Yes @Escapeandnevercomeback, we really do need a real sense of self-respect. I've always liked the metaphor in the Bible in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 about thinking of your body as a holy temple. Yeah the whole beta to alpha categories I've never really been a fan of, however, the characteristics they are pointing to in our society I absolutely agree with. It's crazy to think about @Orbiter, but it's true, and you know it will happen real soon. I've been trying recently to get rid of all fantasies in my life, or at least, to acknowledge them, and I don't mean only sexual ones. We live in an age with everything instantly available and "easy". This is not good for us in the long term. Anything worthwhile takes time and effort, and I think it's good to look at our lives and see where else we're being deceived; our relationships, our jobs, our money management and overall health to name a few.
