Girlfriend and I have now had sex twice since the reboot began, but yesterday was the first time I had an orgasm. We have a deal that if I start to fantasize or anything, I will get her to stop. The first time yesterday, we had eye contact for almost the entire time, and there wasn't a moment where I couldn't see her face, and I didn't fantasize at all. Anytime my mind tried to wander, I stopped it and went back to focusing on my girlfriend. It was amazing.

We almost had sex last night too, but with it being very dark, I stopped it because I didn't think I would be able to focus on her. She didn't mind, and we just cuddled and went to sleep.

I think this is progress. Urges still strong when she is not around, but I refuse to look at porn and to even go online when I'm struggling.

That's awesome to hear.  Was the ED thing a problem for you?  You don't have answer that if you don't want to.  I seem to be in the minority in that the ED part of the addiction has not really affected me.  Eye contact is so important.  You can definitely feel when your minds are melding and when they're not.  Keep up the fight.

Only in certain situations does it affect me.  I can be "thrown off" so easily. I used to use fantasies to keep it up for longer. Now that I don't, it can happen.

For the record, if I wasn't with someone I was "in love with", I wasn't able to get it up at all.

Also after a terrible day at work, I'm triggering something special. I need to sleep and remember why I'm doing this.

i've learned so far that the cravings to jerk off go away in much the same way a craving for a cigarette does (i smoked for 13 years and quit).  I ride out the craving, and eventually it quiets down.  remember, all you have to do is say no.  take it one minute at a time if you have to.  You CAN do it.  we all believe in you, especially me.  you deserve to not do it.  you are worth it.

Thanks guys. As I have bad days, the cravings are worse. After I get home from work, I just get right to sleep. When I wake up, I generally feel better.

I'm so pumped of how we are doing so far. The one thing I'm noticing more and more is just how often web sites use bikini models to advertise. I'm having to avoid certain popular web sites just so I'm not tempted. I'll be reading a comic strip review, and bam. Topless drawing. So frustrating. I didn't realize how prevalent it was online.

Anyway, gotta keep going strong. Can't let my guard down.

Use Firefox and install Adblock Plus. Or Chrome, I think it has Adblock, too.
I don?t get any of that crap shoved to my face.

That's not a bad idea actually. I don't mind supporting content producers who rely on the ads, but my mental health is pretty important here. Thanks for the suggestion.

Just when I thought work couldn't get worse, it does. Almost got fired today. Feels like it was all beyond my control and that I'm being thrown to the wolves. Just starting off my career too. If I had known what I know now, I'd never have come to work here.

I have to go right to bed, or I feel I may relapse. It's amazing how negativity like this triggers me.

yeah negativity is a big trigger.  we use the dopamine rush to not feel our feelings.  you'll be alright.  just keep doing what you're doing.

ultimately , it is your choice.
as said above my fellow, that do 1 minute at a time if you need to.
this is battle of mind and concentration.

if you put filter, still you would go back , you have so many other ways to reach porn , you can reinstall the windows etc etc.

so instead of running from porn , just take back control of your mind.
find with triggers and fantasy.

last battle will be with fantasy and triggers.

if you get any trigger , avoid it as soon as possible , dismiss the trigger , if you are watching a girl , and going into fantasy , stop looking at that girl. lower your gaze.

if you are going into fantasy , stop the fantasy instantly.

this is the way , you can reboot.

for rebooting you have to take back the control of your brain.

Hey Rockit,

Glad to see that you're making some progress. As for the situations around you? Stay in control of what you can control and don't worry about the rest.

I'm glad to hear your gf is supportive of your reboot. My only concern would be having sex this early into your reboot. Now, far be it from me to stop you from getting laid, but part of the reboot process is to stop P, M and O for a short while at least so your brain can detach itself from P. Yes, having sex with a real person does help the reboot process, but just make sure that you're doing what's best for your reboot and LT goals.
